We chose our home in the heart of Tel Aviv in a building that had housed the New York Hotel in the 1920's, on the greening Rothschild Boulevard that symbolized the development and variegated character of the past and future Tel Aviv.
The New York Hotel was designed and built in 1924 by the architect Zelig Axelrod as a two-story structure.
Its design was influenced by the style of a typical Arab house of the time: six rooms around a central courtyard that served both as a corridor and a hospitality room.
In the beginning of the thirties, the building underwent a facelift: a third story was added, together with two arches – a kind of balcony projecting from the facade.
We decided to preserve the building in the spirit of the architect's vision, to respect the design heritage and spirit of its original inhabitants.
We therefore incorporated our own personal expression in the interior design, creating a warm family like atmosphere combined with the heritage of the company itself.
… and whoever walks along the boulevard in the evening time and enters through the doors of the New York Hotel – our company offices today – feels as if he were walking in the reception hall of the hotel in the 1930's toward the spacious courtyard, with the ancient Eucalyptus tree at its center overreaching all of the surrounding structures.
Welcome…!
